Responsibilities
Sets a personal example in adherence to TEPU H3SE, Integrity and Sustainability procedures.
Ensures the safety of the workplace to avoid danger to persons, installations and avoid impact to the environment and maintain the means for personal protection and safety emergency procedures.
Notifies staff about accidents, incidents, near misses and hazardous situations and initiates necessary corrective actions.
Reviews Material creation, modification, and deletion requests for consistency with Company Rules (CR) and procedures.
Verifies stock integration and reintegration requests for consistency with CR and Procedures.
Archives all technical information about the material in stock such as QA/QC reports, Certificates of Conformity, Lab and Test reports, etc.
Identify improvement opportunities to increase the Materials Management process efficiency
Performs regular stock analysis and engages TADMs for stock optimization opportunities including identifying dead, surplus stock, shortages etc. and ensures implementation of agreed strategies.
Prepares and issues monthly stock reports for respective TADMs.
Liaises with Finance to generate stock lists for depreciation if any and/or write-off following disposal or stock corrections.
Regularly runs MRP and liaises with TADMs to review proposed replenishments.
Leads the regular process of updating Materials MRP parameters in liaison with TADMs.
Liaises with Logistics teams, to plan, coordinate and execute physical inventory counts/reconciliations and is responsible for the issuance of the reports within a reasonable time thereafter.
Tracks and ensures implementation of recommendations from physical inventory counts and audits.
Liaises with Accounting to resolve in SAP variances or corrections from physical inventory counts.
Ensures proper archiving of physical inventory reports.
Executes all internal stock control tests including SOX Controls.
Person Specification
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or equivalent experience.
Membership of relevant professional bodies in procurement and supply chain would be an added advantage.
Contracts & Procurement Competencies.
Proficient in SAP or similar ERP tool for stock management.
Good knowledge of Company’s’ Métiers and group Categories would be an advantage.
Experience/Skills ;
Minimum 1 year experience within a Similar role or other procurement or other Supply chain function in any Company Affiliate.
Minimum 3 years of practical, relevant, and progressive experience in role or other material management positions (preferably for the upstream Oil & Gas sector).
Hands-on experience on procurement tools/ERP systems for Material Management i.e SAP – UNISOL or similar e-sourcing, etc.) and MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Knowledge stock/transit/Freight operations would be an advantage.
