Job title: Tax and Insurance Manager- Planning & Finance Department
Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Abert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function:
To be responsible for the oversight role over the tax and insurance management of the company.

Responsibilities:
• Enhance and ensure overall tax optimization and compliance of the Company, and provide tax advice on any other matters that affect the company.
• Guide and advise the Company on tax planning within the ambit of the law, tax efficiency and the impact of strategic and operational decisions to avoid risk of tax leakage.
• Review the tax accounting practices and ensure that the tax data collection systems are efficient.
• Review the Company budget periodically to advise and monitor past and future tax spend.
• Verity and ensure adequate Insurance Cover(s) are in place and up to date. Coaching, conduct tax training and mentorship to colleagues and supervise subordinates.
• Enhance continuous practical development within the Tax section.
• Other duties assigned by superior and management.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or above in Economics, finance, taxation or the related
• International professional tax qualification is required.
• At least 10 years related working experience and 5 years experiences in oil & Gas in similar position.
• International working experience in a similar role is required

Knowledge:
• Knowledge about integrate development geology research methodology.
• Knowledge about geology, geophysics and petro physics etc.
• Master the integrate project research work process in development.
• Mastery use of the advanced software.

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
