Team Leader: Physical/Spatial Planner
Savimaxx Limited Uganda is a multi-disciplinary professional consulting
firm with demonstrated experience in successful management and
implementation of projects. We are looking for a Retainer Independent
Team Leader: Physical/Spatial Planner must be a competent Consultant/Expert with a Ph. D and at least five years’ experience or Master’s Degree with at least 15 years experience in Physical Planning, Urban and Regional Planning; Spatial Planning, Master Plans or any other Land Use Planning related disciplines.
- S/he must have very strong interpersonal skills, leadership qualities to manage a multi-disciplinary team and be ready to work in a diverse multicultural environment.
- Must have very good writing skills, editing of thematic reports, presentations skills and reporting skills. Must be fluent in oral, listening and written English.
- Must be conversant in preparing Physical Development Plans at National, Regional, District, Sub county at various Urban Authorities levels, experience in embedding these plans with other Development Plans and setting up implementation mechanisms.
- S/he should be an accredited Physical Planning Consultant/Expert registered with the National Institute of Planners in Uganda or an equivalent body outside the country and having worked as a team leader in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Must be conversant in preparing Physical Development Plans at National, Regional, District, Sub county at various Urban Authorities levels, experience in embedding these plans with other Development Plans and setting up implementation mechanisms.
