Background

The Davis & Shirtliff Group is the leading supplier of Water and Energy solutions in the region. The group operates through a network of Ugandan branches namely Kampala, Mukono, Jinja, Mbale, Gulu, Arua Mbarara, Entebbe, Fort Portal and Hoima. We are looking for a qualified and talented young professional to fill the above position.

Roles and Responsibilities

The main roles and responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Installation, servicing, and maintenance of D&S equipment
  • Electrical design, diagnosis, and troubleshooting
  • Carrying out service contract inspections
  • Supporting product and service sales
  • Handling on-site customer communication
  • Any other task deemed necessary to accomplish the above

Requirements

The successful candidates will most likely meet the following requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in any Engineering discipline
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a busy service and maintenance environment
  • Valid driving License and ability to ride a motorcycle is an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service
  • Ability to speak Lugabra is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge of solar, water treatment, electrical, and electronic systems.
