Technician – Electrical job at Kakira Sugar Limited

Overall Purpose of The Job.

To maintain and repair all electrical equipment’s in Co- generation plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair motor control centres, motors, control panels, transformers, 33kv switch yard, 11 KV H.T panels etc.
• Service the motors, starters and circuit breakers and related control panels.
• Ensure the overhauling of electrical equipment’s during plant shut down.
• Install new electrical installations in co-generation plant.
• Carry out tests on electrical equipment’s and monitor their performance.
• Keep record of maintenance and repair work.
• Clean the working environment and maintain good housekeeping.
• Adhere to the safety, health and environment policy of the company.
• Perform any other duties as maybe assigned by the Electrical Supervisor/Management from time to time.

C Knowledge, qualifications & Experience

C.1 Education:

A minimum of a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

C.2 Experience, Skills and Competences:

A minimum of five (5) years as an Electrical Technician in a big Organization.

Knowledge in servicing and maintenance of electrical repairs.

Interpersonal Skills:

Good interpersonal skills
