Job Summary:
The Toolpusher will be responsible for all drilling operations and rig crew activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures. They are responsible for
coordinating drilling activities, supervising maintenance, managing personnel, and reporting on coperational status to company representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all rig operations and drilling crew activities.
• Ensure safety standards and protocols are strictly followed.
• Monitor drilling parameters and progress, addressing any technical issues.
• Liaise with the client, drilling engineers, and third-party service providers.
• Oversee maintenance and readiness of drilling equipment and rig systems.
• Manage inventory and logistics for rig supplies and consumables.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of operational and safety reports.
• Train and mentor crew members, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate crew schedules and manage workforce on the rig.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling operations with at least 2 years as a Driller or Assistant Toolpusher.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in drilling operations is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in rig management systems and drilling reporting software.
