JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise contract drivers and ensure service quality.
- Manage staff transportation arrangements.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance/roadworthiness (org & contractor fleets).
- Schedule fleet repairs and maintenance.
- Advise on transport policies, safety procedures, and driver compliance.
- Assess driver skills/traffic law adherence; organize safety training.
- Monitor/report fuel usage vs. distance traveled.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s in Transport & Logistics Management.
- License: Valid Ugandan Driver’s License.
- Experience: 7+ years of passenger driving in Uganda.
- Skills:
- Traffic laws, fleet tracking, vehicle maintenance.
- Logistics planning, route scheduling, fuel monitoring.
- Report writing, budgeting, record keeping.
