Café Africa Uganda (CAU) and the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Uganda Chapter are seeking qualified and passionate individuals to support the implementation of the Empowering Young Women Entrepreneurs in Agriculture Stimulated by Coffee (EYE-C) programme.
The EYE-C programme, funded by the Netherlands Foundation, is being implemented by a consortium comprising Agri-Lab Development Lab, Café Africa Uganda, and IWCA Uganda Chapter. The programme aims to empower over 300,000 young women to create and add value within Uganda’s agricultural value chains, particularly in coffee, by providing them with the skills, resources, and support needed as entrepreneurs and employees, thereby ensuring their sustainable, dignified participation in the sector where their contributions drive sector growth.
A degree in agriculture, food science & technology, marketing, or related field. Additional training or certification in quality standards (e.g., UTZ certification for coffee) is an added advantage.
