Waiters and Waitresses are responsible for providing a positive dining experience by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests, present menus, and clearly explain menu items and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meal and address any issues.
- Prepare and present the final bill, process payments.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables after guests leave.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient service.
Qualifications:
- No formal education required; training is typically provided.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during busy periods.
- Physical stamina to be on your feet and carry trays for extended periods.
- A customer-focused and friendly attitude.
