Background

To oversee the daily operations of the farm's warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records and a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse space for optimal storage and accessibility (e.g., farm inputs, produce, equipment).
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to customers or retail outlets.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or spreadsheets.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams to manage stock levels and deliveries.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma in Supplies Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or storekeeping role.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
  • Knowledge of basic health and safety practices.
