Key Responsibilities:

• Selecting Method: Choose the appropriate welding process (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored) based on the material and project requirements.
• Setting Up: Correctly set up welding equipment, including gas, voltage, wire speed, and amperage.
• Executing Welds: Perform high-quality welds that meet all specifications for strength, penetration, and appearance.
• Following Procedures: Adhere to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) to ensure consistency and quality.
• Inspecting Welds: Visually inspect welds for defects like cracks, porosity, or undercut and make repairs as needed.
• Maintaining Equipment: Perform basic maintenance on welding torches, wire feeders, and ground clamps.
