JOB DETAILS:
Job Description
1. Monitor welding activities on the construction site and ensure adherence to WPS, welding procedures, codes, and standards.
2. Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to verify weld quality, including joint preparation, fit-up, and weld bead geometry.
3. Collaborate with NDT technicians to schedule and prioritize inspections based on project requirements.
4. Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection plans, checklists, and records.
5. Perform audits to verify that quality control procedures are being followed and identify areas for improvement.
6. Generate and submit quality reports to project management and clients as required.
7. Ensure that all activities comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ASME, API…).

Requirement
1. Minimum of Bachelor / Diploma Degree in Mechanical engineering.
2. Relevant certifications in welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP3.1 / AWS) certificate are mandatory, preferable with non- destructive testing (e.g., NDT certificates).
3. Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related role in the pipeline / piping construction industry.
4. Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipeline welding quality control.
5. Thorough knowledge of welding processes, codes (e.g., ASME Sec.IX, API1104…).
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
7. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for quality control and documentation.
8. Strong knowledge of related role in pipeline / piping construction, materials, and industry standards.
9. Fluent in English, can communicate with CPY/EPcmC/CPP engineer face to face.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office operating system (including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
