The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) seeks a qualified consultancy firm to conduct a comprehensive assessment of smartphone penetration and pricing in Uganda. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a nationwide survey to determine smartphone ownership rates and usage patterns.
Analyze pricing trends of smartphones in the Ugandan market, including new and refurbished devices.
Identify barriers to smartphone adoption, such as cost, infrastructure, and awareness.
Assess the impact of government policies and initiatives on smartphone penetration.
Provide recommendations to enhance affordability and increase smartphone uptake, particularly among underserved populations.
