This is how it works:

Location : Iraq-Karbala City

Reports to : PM, SM, Chief Controller & Project COO

Salary : UGX 5,615,472/month

Requirements / Qualifications :

1. University degree Material/Others
2. Computer literate
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
4. With construction material background
5. 20-25 years work experience in same position

Purpose :

1. To manage the Store with material delivery and handing-over system implementation.
2. Apply HSE to the Store buildings with easy accessibility to each department.

Responsibilities :

1. Prepare a material check list for each type with Consultants approval.
2. Preparation of measurement sheets and quantity list on regular basis
3. Update the material list with quantity less than 30% on a weekly basis.
4. Monitors and records all handed-over material to all subcontractors.
5. Raise Weekly & Monthly Report for the Store & Material status to the PM.
6. Segregate all Rejected material and put it away with flags & tape.
7. Manage the Store movement system and educate the Store Personnel.
8. Assist in the Cash flow by raising the future material demand list.

Internal / External Communications:

1. Internally to Site Manager/Project Manager / Project Director / Cost Engineer
2. Externally with Subcontractors / Suppliers.

Special Requirements / Features:

• Possess excellent mathematical and accounting skills
• Plays an active role in the Material Control and Store arrangement to minimize the cost and optimize the project execution period
• Residence shall be provided by the company with 3 meals/day free of cost
• Working hours shall be 10 hrs/ day.
• Working days - 6 days
