Musician Edirisa Musuza, popularly known as Eddy Kenzo, remains Uganda’s most awarded artiste and a dominant force on the international music stage.
But despite his achievements, Kenzo says many people still struggle to accept his success.
Speaking in an interview with a local television, Kenzo revealed that several individuals never believed he would make it in music, and his rise has shocked them.
“Many people never believed in me. They didn’t think I would reach this far, so my success came as a surprise to them,” Kenzo said.
The Big Talent boss recently received yet another Grammy nomination—his second after the first in 2023—and he is confident he could walk away with the award next year.
