After Kenzo was snubbed from Bebe Cool’s latest list, his manager finally fires back — and he didn’t hold anything back.

The manager of Ugandan music star Eddy Kenzo, Martin Beta, has launched a scathing attack on Bebe Cool, questioning both his musical relevance and financial standing.

The remarks came shortly after Eddy Kenzo was excluded from Bebe Cool’s annual list, a move that clearly didn’t sit well with Team Kenzo.

Speaking during an interview on a local podcast, Beta claimed that Bebe Cool has not produced any major hit in over five years, insisting that Kenzo’s single “Nkulowozako” alone is stronger than Bebe Cool’s entire catalogue.

“Kenzo is far ahead of him. Just one Nkulowozako song is bigger than his catalogue. He hasn’t had a big song in over five years and the only time people still talk about him is because of his lists,” Beta stated.

Beta further alleged that Bebe Cool has been fighting Eddy Kenzo ever since Kenzo made his breakthrough in the music industry, starting from his collaboration with Mike Wine on the song “Yaniba.”

“He started fighting Kenzo from the beginning when he worked on Yaniba. But he has lost badly. Kenzo is living a better life than him and remains on top in every aspect — musically and financially,” Beta added.

The war of words between the two camps continues to heat up, proving once again that the rivalry between Uganda’s music giants is far from over.
