Faiza Fabz and many others have been remanded to Luzira Prison and are expected to appear before the court on the 30th of July 2024.

Today (23rd July), a group of protestors, including popular radio and TV presenter Faiza Fabz, took to the streets to demonstrate against government corruption.

The movement, dubbed #March2Parliament, saw a large crowd voice their anger. Police were out in force, and unfortunately, many protestors, including Faiza, were arrested. They were slapped with charges of causing a public nuisance and being disorderly.

This is a big blow for Faiza and her fellow protestors. They've been sent to Luzira Prison and won't see a court hearing until July 30th. It's a tense situation, and people are waiting to see what happens next.
