Media personality Jacob Omutuzze has sharply criticized musician Bebe Cool, saying the singer’s 2025 album Break the Chains did more harm than good to his career.

Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Omutuzze argued that despite the heavy investment poured into the project, the album failed to deliver both financial returns and career growth for the Gagamel boss.

According to Omutuzze, Bebe Cool ranked among the most underperforming musicians of 2025, even with the album’s release.

“The album has been useless to him. He didn’t gain financially from it, and it also didn’t achieve the goals he set out to accomplish. It was a waste of resources,” Omutuzze said.

He added that the money used on the album could have been better invested in a business venture or in supporting upcoming talent, rather than trying to revive Bebe Cool’s own musical standing.

“That huge investment should have been put into young musicians or other businesses. The album added nothing positive to his career,” he noted.

Omutuzze’s remarks echo growing criticism within entertainment circles, with several commentators questioning the commercial and strategic value of Break the Chains in an increasingly competitive Ugandan music industry.
