In an interview, Big Trill was asked how he came up with the song. He said he was watching a video of Pastor Sempa criticising youth in Uganda who instead of working, party endlessly.
“I got a vibe and recorded a song. There was this beat I was trying to jam on but words were not coming through. When I heard Sempa said, Party After Party, I knew I had a song,” he explained.
