NRM party headquarters at Kyadondo are on fire with Tanga Odoi blasting party chief Kasule Lumumba after sending home several of his staff.
Party secretary general Lumumba and electoral commission chief Tanga have since the events leading to the general election been involved in shouting battles.
Tuesday afternoon, Lumumba called a news conference to announce several of Tanga’s staff fired.
An angry Tanga called in scribes to water down the party chief’s earlier communication which left him and his team impotent.
The former Makerere University don told scribes Lumumba is a good mobilizer and a good dancer as well.
Tanga said she does not have the required experience to be an administrator.
The electoral party boss noted that Lumumba was a district education officer and then on become an MP.
President and party chairman Yoweri Museveni ordered the party to investigate cases of ghost workers.
Sources in the party say the secretary general’s sweeping list targeted Tanga’s team.
Tanga went personal in response to the list, claiming Lumumba kept her team intact including people who work on her nails (cutex boys).
