The woes befalling ASP Muhammad Kirumira don’t seem to cease, as new painful and equally shocking revelations emerge. After him announcing his retirement from the Uganda Police Force on social media, which followed cops breaking him out of his house and taking him to Nalufeenya, the self-proclaimed Mwoyo Gwa Gwanga thought things were now fine after his colleague Afande Omala stood surety for him.
But a new twist implicates Kirumira as a thief – allegedly. He is being accused by Mr. Joseph Bukenya, a crime preventer attached to Nansana Police Division during ASP Kirumira’s time as OC at the station.
“I want to tell this court that Afande Kirumira is a bad person. He used to eat people’s things without paying. He also ate my rolex and he did not pay me. I was operating a chapatti stall at the time,” Mr Bukenya said.
All this said, we anticipate a social media response from the Assistant Superintendent of Police, and worry not: we will keep you posted.
