Police have finally cornered the notorious and killer boda boda monster who ended renown scribe Teddy Seezi Cheeye’s life at Nakawa.
Cheeyi who died on the spot was reported to have been at his son’s hostel at Makerere Business School.
Kampala Metropolitan Police KMP confirmed the monster was snoring heavily under his bed when he learnt his days had run out.
Police said: “We have arrested the hit and run motorcyclist on suspicion of murdering Teddy Seezi Cheeye at Nakawa.”
Police named the killer suspect as: “The suspect identified as Roger Kirya 32 years after a serious manhunt was found hiding in Mbuya Nakawa Division.”
According to his daughter, Cheeye was knocked by a boda boda cyclist ridding UEH 773R as he was taking a walk in Nakawa.
Police also confirmed: “He is being detained at Jinja Road Police Station and has been charged on TAR 78/2018 pending court.”
Cheeye was a former head of economic monitoring in the Internal Security Organisation (ISO).
