Matuga woke up to the brutal killing of a woman who was dumped in a swamp.
Police named the woman as Elizabeth Nakato, a Kampala businesswoman who plies her trade at City House in Nakasero.
Nakato who resides in Katwe body was found by police wrapped in a sack.
Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire, told Galaxy FM 100.2, kops found the body with a paper containing a police reference file number of a case the deceased had reported in 2017.
Owoyesigire revealed: “We found the SD reference and we based on that to investigate the identity of the woman as well as what could have possibly happened.”
According to the KMP boss: “The case which was reported at Katwe Police Station was of Malicious damage against a woman who was having an affair with Nakato’s husband only identified as Ssegujja.”
He went on: “The woman whose identity had been withheld by Police for her security was arrested shortly after news of Nakato’s death reached her area of residence.”
