The death toll in the Gaaga Bus accident in Kiryandongo in the wee hours of last night has reached 22 according to police.
The fateful accident occurred at the early of Friday night when a Gaaga Bus, registration number UAK 562 L from Lira to Kampala crashed into a tractor registration number UAU 872M leaving the it torn apart.
The bus in its bits then rammed rammed into a truck full of beer with registration number UAT 088J.
Police have released a statement: "The number of the dead in this accident earlier explained is 22; including 4 juveniles, 18 adults. Among the adults, 4 are female, 12 are male. The injured are 14 are have been air lifted to Kampala for medical attention."
