George William Bizibu, the Executive Secretary, Departed Asian Property Custodian Board has involved in a motor accident along the Kibaale-Kakumiro road in Kibaale district.
Bizibu who hails from Kibaale is believed to have been driving home when his Land cruiser Reg.No.UBA136P overturned several times.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson says the incident happened between Midnight and 1am today.
He was rushed to Kakumiro Health Centre IV for first aid and later picked by an ambulance to Kampala.
Hakiza suspects the accident could have been due to drunk-driving saying beer bottles were found in the vehicle.
Meanwhile police have dismissed as false claims that Bizibu had been shot by unknown people. This morning social media was awash with photos of the blood soaked Bizibu suggesting he had been shot.
