President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tuesday morning confirmed his government will ‘soonest’ resolve pending issues with Buganda Kingdom.
President Museveni’s visit follows Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi’s visit to State House in 2014 where Government returned some of Buganda property including 213 land titles, handing them to Deputy Katikkiro Emmanuel Sendaula.
The President on the visit, said: “I paid a courtesy call on my brother, His Highness Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, at his palace in Banda, Wakiso District. I thank him for the invitation.”
President Museveni revealed: “We held a cordial meeting where we agreed that all pending issues involving the kingdom’s property, land and financial arrears be resolved soonest. I thank the Kabaka for the hospitality extended to my entourage and myself.”
