Members of Uganda Young Democrats (UYD) ,a group affiliated to the Democratic party have apologized to Ugandans for the current verbal wars by some principals in the opposition, with the recent one being between DP president Nobert Mao and Butambala MP Mwanga Kivumbi. Kivumbi accused Mao of being a Museveni-agent, who is out to confuse the opposition, especially the people group with his presidential bid. Mao fired back, calling Kivumbi a ‘careless’ and ‘less intelligent legislator’

The youths, while addressing the media at London Chambers Kampala, noted that the verbal wars are a destruction and derail the much desired regime change needed by Ugandans.

They also revealed that they are to launch a red Friday weekend tomorrow where all people of all walks who believe in the people power dogma will be dressed in red on Fridays until they see a people power centered government;

Mugambwa  Robert , the  secretary general says they will they will traverse the country , in sensitization, starting next week.

The visibly hopeful youths expressed optimism in a better Uganda as they sang; ‘We shall overcome….Tuliyambala Engule’.
