President Yoweri Museveni has ordered the Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda to see off fallen ‘patriot’ Prof. Apollo Robin Nsibambi a ‘befitting send-off’.
Prof. Nsibambi was confirmed dead Tuesday evening by his daughter Mary Julie Nsibambi.
President Museveni who just returned from attending the inauguration of Cyril Ramaphosa as President of South Africa, echoed the call through his twitter account.
He tweeted: “I have learnt of the untimely passing of the former Prime Minister, Prof Apolo Nsibambi. He was a true patriot and great academic. The country will miss him. I have instructed Prime Minister @RuhakanaR to lead a team that will ensure we give Prof Nsibambi a befitting send-off.”
