Tanzania breathed a sigh of relief after the country registered half the number they posted on Friday.
The country announced two deaths and 23 Covid-19 cases after posting 53 on Friday.
The number of deaths tally to 7 while cases hit 170.
The Minister for Health, Community Development Gender, Elderly and Children, Ummy Mwalimu urged the nation to observe personal hygiene.
Ummy who is the MP for Tanga region, called on the citizens to wash hands with soap, social distance and then stay at home.
“Nitumie fursa hii kuwakumbusha watanzania kufuata maelekezo ya wataalam wa afya, kunawa mikono kwa maji tiririka na sabuni,na kubwa zaidi ninalotaka kusisitiza ni kwamba tuepuke misongamano na kama huna sababu ya kutoka nyumbani ni vyema ukabaki nyumbani ili kuepuka misongamano.”
