Police at the Nakulabye Police Station are holding a 28-year-old man for stabbing to death his 20-year-old sister following a bitter fight.
Kyomuhendo Kassim in a fit of anger killed Aminah Namara today at about 4:00 am while at their place of residence in Zone 5 Nakulabye.
Kassim reportedly used a sharp object to pierce his sister severally and left her lying dead in a pool of blood.
Deputy Spokesperson KMP Luke Owoyesigyire says that Nakulabye police have also arrested Harriet Komuntale, a wife to the suspect to aid in the investigations.
He says the cause of the fight is yet to be ascertained as investigations are ongoing.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased is currently at the City Mortuary in Mulago for a postmortem.
