Police have thrown into custody a 34-year-old horny woman accused of defiling an 11-year-old Boy in Otuke District.
Susan Akite, a resident of Amyel village, Olilim Sub-county in Otuke District was locked up at Otuke Central Police Station on Monday shortly after the mother to the child, Betty Adongo, filed a missing case with the police at Okwang police post.
The boy had reportedly gone missing from home for a week and rumours had been circulating around the village that he had been sighted several times at Akite’s residence.
James Ekaju, the Acting North Kyoga Regional police spokesperson confirmed says police followed up on the rumours and confirmed that the 11-year-old was indeed camped at Akite’s place.
He further says police questioned the child and he reported how Akite forced him into sex several times within that week.
He says Akite has been charged with aggravated defilement and will appear in court.
According to section 129 (3), the maximum penalty for the offense of Aggravated Defilement c/s 129 (3) and (4) (a) of the Penal Code Act, is death.
