Barefooted FDC presidential flag bearer, Patrick Amuriat, is still in the Teso region setting his agenda straight for the possibility of being elected into office in 2021.
Amuriat has been largely described as a Teso son because of his ancestral roots that trace back to the region besides being the Kumi County Legislator.
The FDC Presidential hopeful has pledged to restore the glory of the region he claims was robbed of them during the regime of the incumbent president Yoweri Museveni.
Amuriat claims the massacres and loss of cattle that Teso was once rich in and proud of, was a deliberate strategy organized by the current regime.
“Massacres were conducted, in Mukura, Kabwere, Nyero, Osamai Omaria, Otucopi, Serere, all over the regime,” he said, adding that all such injustices will be addressed in his minimum agenda for Teso.
He explains that further details of settlements and resolutions for the people of Teso, those in the East and Greater North, are all included in his manifesto that will be launched on the 26 November 2020 in Hoima district.
Amuriat has so far moved through Soroti where he launched his campaign, Serere, Bukedea mending broken hearts with word of mouth.
