Police in Lira has busted a ruthless husband for strangling his wife to death following marital troubles on bonking.
Horny Sam Obongo, a resident of Alyec B Village, Alwala parish in Ogur Sub County in Lira district reportedly killed his 22-year-old Jillian Apio after she refused to serve him her beans.
Apio reportedly refused to give Obongo her things because she suspected he was chewing other women outside their marriage.
On that fateful Tuesday night, Obongo showed up tired and angered at his official bonkmate for making him go months without enjoying his Process by process business.
He reportedly attacked his wife and killed her, he was arrested on Wednesday morning after locals and relatives tipped police.
The locals informed Apio’s father who came over and demanded to know what happened to his daughter.
After unsuccessfully trying to convince locals that Apio died from an illness, Obongo was handed over to the police.
Neighbors to the couple who spoke on condition of anonymity claim Obongo had been threatening to kill Apio for refusing to sleep with him yet he had paid her bride price.
They claim the deceased had reportedly denied the suspect sex accusing him of adultery.
Jimmy Patrick Okema, the North Kyoga Region Police spokesperson, says that the deceased’s body was found lying in their marital home.
He adds that the deceased’s body is lying at Lira Regional Referral hospital for postmortem.
