A separate road accident has claimed the life of a former Member of Parliament for Erute North.

Charles Angiro Gutmoi who served in the 10th Parliament died along with three others on Saturday morning on his way to Nebbi in West Nile.

It’s alleged that the vehicle (Toyota Noah, UAW 943A) was coming from Lira while heading to Nebbi district to attend a traditional marriage and upon reaching Ayago in Murchison Game Park, the driver lost control and overturned the vehicle killing four of its occupants and injuring two.

One of those killed was the veteran politician.
