Lotus Brand is hiring an Accountant to support our company’s daily finance and accounting work in Uganda.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience


• Familiar with local company tax filing and compliance in Uganda


• Able to handle bookkeeping and daily accounting records


• Able to prepare cost calculations and expense summaries


• Able to track daily office and project expenses


• Experience with URA tax filing, VAT, PAYE, withholding tax, NSSF, and EFRIS is preferred


• Good Excel skills


• Honest, careful, responsible, and able to work independently


• Good communication skills in English

Main Duties

• Maintain company accounting records


• Prepare monthly expense and cost reports


• Handle tax filing and related documents


• Manage petty cash and daily expense records


• Support payroll and statutory payment records


• Assist with bank reconciliation


• Keep invoices, receipts, vouchers, and financial documents properly filed


• Support management with other finance-related tasks

• Maintain company accounting records
