Description
Tenna & Pharma Laboratories is hiring an Accountant to carryout the following duties and responsibilities;
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
- Prepare statutory deductions and support tax compliance processes.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
- Support payroll preparation and staff payment processes.
- Monitor petty cash and daily financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
- Support procurement and inventory financial documentation.
- Assist during audits and financial inspections.
- Work closely with management to support operational efficiency and accountability.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (Accounting Option), or related field from a reputable institution.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a busy and fast-paced organization or medical facility.
- Professional accounting certification (CPA/ACCA Level I or above) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially QuickBooks and Excel.

- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of medical facility financial operations is an added advantage.
