Claims Assistant (Bukoto)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Claims Assistant to support the processing and administration of medical insurance claims. The successful candidate will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant claims management while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process medical insurance claims.


• Review claims documentation for completeness and accuracy.


• Liaise with healthcare providers, insurers, and clients regarding claim requirements.


• Maintain accurate claims records and databases.


• Follow up on pending claims and resolve discrepancies.


• Prepare claims reports and administrative documentation.


• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Information Management, Insurance, or a related field.


• Previous experience in medical claims processing, insurance, or healthcare administration is an added advantage.


• Strong analytical and organizational skills.


• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.


• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
