Graduate Trainee-ATO



Uganda Airlines is hiring a Graduate Trainee-ATO to support the planning and coordination in the training within the HR Department. Ensuring training activities run smoothly, records are accurately maintained, and employees receive timely and effective learning support aligned with organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities



  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external training programs, workshops, and seminars

  • Liaise with trainers, facilitators, and departments to confirm training requirements and logistics

  • Assess and evaluate training needs / Gaps

  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance lists, and training reports

  • Support the development and distribution of training materials and resources

  • Monitor training calendars and communicate schedules to participants

  • Assist in evaluating training effectiveness through feedback and reports

  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory training requirements

  • Provide administrative support to the training and HR teams as needed


Minimum Experience



  • Experience in any active aviation courses training.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in regard to Training / Personnel licensing any other related UCAA regulations.

  • Proven experience of working with an airline.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills


Minimum Qualifications



  • Diploma in any field.

  • Certificate in Safety Management System.

  • Certificate in Quality Management System.

  • Any other aviation courses will be an added advantage.
