Role Overview

In this role of Graphic Designer, you will be integral in creating compelling graphics that effectively communicate our brand's message. The ideal candidate will thrive in a small team dynamic, showcasing their creativity while managing project timelines to produce high-quality visual content.

Position Details

- Employment Type: Full-time- Location: Blue Heights Nasser Road- Reporting Structure: Reports to General Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites. 2. Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed. 3. Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. 4. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type. 5. Key information into computer equipment to create layouts for client or supervisor.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

- Post-secondary Diploma in Graphic Design or other related fields. - 1-2 years of relevant experience. - Required skills include Active Learning, Complex Problem Solving, and Time Management. - Knowledge in Design, Fine Arts, and Production is essential. - Proficiency in graphics/photo imaging software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is crucial. - Proficiency in Luganda is required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Active Listening and Persuasion skills are advantageous. - Understanding of Computers and Electronics or Fine Arts is a plus. - Familiarity with layout principles and a creative approach to problem-solving.
