Responsibilities or duties


To provide car-driver services to authorized passengers and items.


Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)



  • A certificate of an Ordinary Uganda Education Level Certificate

  • A clean Driving Permit Class B

  • A certificate in Defensive driving is a must.

  • Ability to speak English. Kiswahili is desirable.

  • Ability to build relationships and relate well with others to facilitate the accomplishment of work targets.

  • Ability to manage self

  • Ability to understand and work in a customer-centric environment

  • Ability to adapt to traffic and weather conditions

  • Ability to pay attention to detail


Experience needed


Continuous five (5) years' driving experience in formal employment.


Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)


A certificate or qualification in motor vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.


  • Drive authorized passengers assigned by the transport officer
  • Deliver items/correspondences/other material safely and promptly when deployed.
  • Maintain assigned vehicle/other equipment in a clean and sound mechanical condition of the car daily.
  • Maintain a valid license at all times
  • Undertake regular preventative and vehicle /machinery service routines
  • Compile mileage and maintenance log sheets and submit them for review.
  • Attend and participate in the deliberations of the Zonal Loans Committee.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
