About the Role:


The Manager Partnerships will lead etranzact's partnership strategy in Uganda, identifying, negotiating and managing strategic alliances that unlock new opportunities, grow revenue and strengthen our market leadership.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute the partnership strategy aligned to business goals.

  • Identify, evaluate and onboard high-value partners.

  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements and strategic alliances.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term partner relationships.

  • Drive partner performance and collaboration to achieve results.

  • Support growth, innovation and market expansion initiatives.


Key Partners You Will Work With:



  • Banks & Financial Institutions.

  • Mobile Network Operators.

  • Fintechs & Payment Service Providers.

  • Merchants & E-commerce Platforms.

  • Government Institutions.

  • Development Partners & Other Stakeholders.


What We Are Looking For:



  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development or sales within fintech, payments, banking or telecom sectors.

  • Proven track record of delivering measurable partnership and revenue growth.

  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Deep understanding of the Ugandan and East African financial services ecosystem.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field (MBA is an advantage).

  • Experience in the payments or fintech industry is highly preferred.
