Duties & Responsibilites
Geographic Reference
- Take full ownership of project delivery from planning to handover.
- Lead and manage project teams, contractors, and consultants.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
- Ensure execution in line with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial performance.
- Oversee contractor performance, productivity, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with QA/Q standards and safety requirements.
- Lead project meetings and ensure follow-up on all action points.
- Coordinate with all departments (technical, procurement, finance, PMO).
- Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure proper reporting of project progress to senior management.
- Drive performance, accountability, and results across all project activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Strong English communication (verbal and written).
- Minimum 12-15+ years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience in real estate/ residential / high-rise projects.
- Strong background in project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and site execution.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a strong advantage.
- Experience in international or multi-country projects.
- Exposure to African markets is a plus.
