Description


Human Capital Business Solutions Ltd is hiring a competent and experienced Senior Procurement Officer responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, equipment, and services to support efficient business operations. The role ensures the timely acquisition of quality goods and services at competitive costs through strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and effective inventory coordination.


Main Duties and Responsibilities



  • Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.

  • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.

  • Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.

  • Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.

  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.

  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

  • Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.

  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.

  • Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

  • Performs any other task as per management request.


Qualifications, Experience, and Skills



  • A minimum of a Bachelors in Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a relevant discipline

  • CIPS is an additional advantage

  • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment preferably in the FMCG Sector.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Organizational and time management skills

  • Effective problem-solving ability

  • Customer Service skills.

  • Reasoning and calculating

  • Adapt quickly to unfamiliar situations

  • Embrace continuous learning mentality

  • Work independently or in a team environment.
