  • Providing high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages.
  • Conducting patient assessment, triage, and recording vital signs.
  • Administering prescribed medications and treatments safely.
  • Assisting the clinician during consultations and medical procedures.
  • Performing wound care, injections, IV therapy, nebulization, and other nursing procedures within the scope of practice.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Providing health education and counselling to patients and their caregivers.
  • Ensuring infection prevention and control standards are maintained.
  • Managing medical supplies and assisting with stock control.
  • Participating in community health promotion activities where required.
  • Delivering compassionate, respectful, and timely patient care at all times.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer care.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and accountability.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
  • Smart personal appearance and professional etiquette.
  • A willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve.
  • Initiative and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure patients receive excellent care.

  • A Certificate in Nursing from a recognised institution.
  • Current registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC).
  • A valid Annual Practising Licence.
  • At least one (1) year of clinical experience (experience in a primary healthcare setting is an added advantage).
  • High standards of honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Compassion and genuine concern for patients and their families.
